Preview and Predictions for the top games on November 14th

Best games for Tuesday November 14th preview and predictions

Michigan State 76 Duke 75

A game between the top-2 teams in the AP Poll will see the Michigan State Spartans go up against the Duke Blue Devils. Marvin Bagley has been a transcendent talent thus far, grabbing 20 points and 10 rebounds in both games this year, while Grayson Allen appears to have returned to greatness. While the Spartans bring in one of the most talented and deep rosters, headlined by potential Player of the year Miles Bridges. Neither team will run away with this game, so this game will likely come down to the wire. my prediction will have the Blue Devils missing a game-winning shot at the buzzer and the Spartans will hold onto win 76-75.

Purdue 85 Marquette 74

This game will be a game between two teams that like to shoot the three. Marquette will come in with Sam Hauser, Markus Howard and Andrew Rowsey, who all shot over 44 percent from beyond the arc last year. The Boilermakers will look to play fast, as they will play with two point guards in Carsen Edwards and PJ Thompson at the guard position, while Vince Edwards at traditional 3 will play at he 4. Look for the Boilermakers to control the pace of the game and have a comfortable lead throughout, the Eagles will make shots, but they likely won’t be able to make enough to really push the Boilermakers.

Iona 63 Syracuse 74

A matchup of two of the better teams in the state of New York will see the Syracuse Orange go up against the Iona Gaels. The Gaels, who are preseason favorites to win the MAAC, are coming into this game off a tough loss at Albany on Friday. The Orange come in off a blowout win against Cornell, as the Orange look to make the NCAA Tournament after an absence last year. Look for this game to be close throughout, however the Orange will hold onto a lead throughout the game and pull away late for a win.

San Diego State 73 Arizona State 70

A matchup between two teams who have improved greatly since last year. The Aztecs add Cameron Rooks to a veteran lead team headlined by Senior Malik Pope, who looks to figure things out in his final season. The Sun Devils will likely rely on a good backcourt of Tra Holder and Shannon Evans ll. This game will likely be close throughout and neither team will pull away, look for the Aztecs to hold onto a 73-70 victory over the Sun Devils.

Kansas 88 Kentucky 74

The nightcap of the Champions Classic sees two Top-10 teams in Kansas and Kentucky playing. The Jayhawks will look to run and gun, with their four guard system they will be one of the top offensive teams in College Basketball. The Wildcats will look to probably slow the tempo down, as even though they are athletic they will likely not be able to keep up with the Jayhawks. This game will come down to runs, specifically by the Jayhawks. The game will probably be close for a while, but at some point Kansas will lock down on defense and get the ball in transition. At that point the Jayhawks will pull away and win likely by double-figures.
